Invitation

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

This time we would like to invite you to the beautifull Polish city Gdańsk, which is very well known   as the city in which Solidarity movement headed by past Polish President Lech Wałęsa started in 1980. It is one of the reasons why this city is called city of freedom. All the events will take place in a newly build fourstar Duo Hotel administrated by Radisson Group. This hotel is located in the heart of the old city on the Island on the river Motława. Within walking distance from the hotel there is a very modern museum European Solidarity Centre where we have planned to run one of the Institute plenary sessions including interesting entertainment.

We have planned to invite a number of outstanding motivational speakers both from the Rotary family and from outside of the Rotary world. Our ambition is to invite the best trainers for all the seminars and provide more attention to the workshops in order to ensure there is a comprehensive platform for exchange of ideas. Apart of standard seminars for Rotarians we have foreseen international RYLA for young leaders during two and half days destinated for Rotaractors and for young leaders outside of Rotary.

Rotary in Poland has long tradition and has still great opportunity for furhther development. Strong  points of the Polish Rotary are humanitarian projects and long term youth exchange.

We also will not forget the entertainment. The Host Organizing Committee is looking for the best local performers so you will have great possibility to experience Polish culture. For those who want to visit more in Poland HOC will offer some interesting excursions.Poland is well known for its hospitality, its history and culture.
